Packaging Services Europe today announced the installation of an additional industrial washing line at its premises in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
Andrew Parkinson, co-founder at PSE says “It’s just six months since we launched the business and we’re investing heavily to extend our services and capability. The response from customers for plastic pallet washing has been very positive and today we’re introducing a further washing facility which enables us to offer plastic crate washing as well as increasing our capacity overall.”
PSE’s new washing equipment can operate 3 lines simultaneously. It enables a 5 stage wash process that includes 2 washes (45 degrees and 55 degrees), rinsing with potable water, dry and biotrace inspections. PSE also prepare all washed and dried pallets for transit to minimise any transport contamination.
With this investment and more planned, PSE are demonstrating their commitment to the future of reusable transit packaging. Further plans are in place to add a hot jet wash facility as well as extending the PSE wash, inspect and repair capability to additional sites.
